The youngest works in our collection are 300 years old, with the oldest over 2,000 years. While their longevity has been impressive, ultimately, nothing can escape time. Take, for example, Renaissance oil paintings. Over hundreds of years, the original varnish tarnishes. Sun exposure eats away at the once brilliant colors. Humidity changes can mold the canvas or crack chunks of paint clean off. There are, of course, expert restorers who can repair the work. However, with each repair, the original piece loses a bit of its original nature. Centuries-old brush strokes are replaced with modern overlays, and it slowly becomes a case of, “If you replace every piece on a boat one at a time, year after year, is it still the same boat?” We would argue it is not.

So while these works have survived many centuries, eventually, they will only be a shell representation of their former selves. But there is an evolutionary step that would help negate this effect, and that is digitization. So while the original will ultimately turn to dust, a perfect digital piece will survive less a total catastrophic end to humanity.

With the acceptance of digitalized art at major auction houses, NFTs have become another way to diversify your art portfolio. Through our limited edition, NFT drops, you will be able to own incredibly detailed scans and 3D models of works that would otherwise have cost tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars. As we continue to fuse the ancient world with the modern, our digital collection will continue to grow and reflect our current vault holdings. We do offer 1/1 editions custom minted for you backed with the original masterwork delivered to your door for the professional collector.

Every piece is unique to our collection.
